Organic farm Shepherd's Hut with a view

You will find ‘The Leveret’ our shepherds hut, on our family run organic farm.  With lovely views across the Torridge valley and beyond to Dartmoor, it is a perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature.  The farm has a mixture of meadows for our cattle and sheep, woodlands and arable and veg fields and is a haven for wildlife. Enjoy a bbq at the fire pit with complimentary wood and charcoal. The excellent local pub at Sheepwash is a 1.5 mile walk through farm lanes and quiet country lanes.

THE POTTING SHED

The Potting Shed, totally secluded, set in an 18th Century Victorian Walled Garden. We offer high class accommodation, a total retreat, with incredible views. Offering Kitchen / living room c/w wood burner, TV/DVD, patio doors to private patio BBQ area, bedroom, ensuite shower/toilet/basin under floor heating throughout. Ideal for romantic breaks, couple holidays, anyone with a passion for gardens, or wanting to totally unwind in secluded surroundings. Electric Car charging point available.

Church Ford Cottage - beautiful 17thC. thatch

Church Ford Cottage is a unique and picturesque 17th century thatched cottage in the heart of beautiful North Devon. It is self-contained and offers everything for a relaxing stay. Little Buckland Cottage

Nestled in the Devon countryside, very rural, with narrow lanes. 15 minutes from the delights of RHS Rosemoor and within easy reach of beaches, Dartmoor and a little further along is Exmoor. Fishing on the river Torridge is close by and the Tarka Trail for keen cyclists is within an easy bike ride. The cottage (adjacent to our house) overlooks our fields and woodland. Keen amateur mycologists will be in heaven at this time of year. Our woodland is teeming with fungi! Come and explore!!

Swallow View, Umberleigh, North Devon

Beautiful guest house just outside Umberleigh in North Devon, in the heart of the Taw Valley. Our guest house is situated atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding scenery and historic Tarka Trail. Fully self-contained building, patio and parking area. Fully fitted kitchen and living room, with a separate bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Underfloor heating coupled with a log burning fireplace for chilly days. Only a short drive to some stunning beaches and marvelous countryside.

The accommodation can be found nestled in the garden of the old village school with lovely views of the river and woods beyond. The Garden Room is but a stones throw from the Tarka Trail which provides over 70 miles of traffic-free cycling or walking. The North Devon coast and it’s beaches are a short drive away.

Tarka Pottery is our onsite pottery experience studio, discount for guests - throw a pot using a potters wheel, paint pottery or get creative with hand building in clay. Booking is required.

Welcome to our charming annex in Inwardleigh, near Okehampton and Dartmoor. Our one-bedroom retreat offers a peaceful getaway or a base to explore Devon. The open-plan layout includes a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and a snug living room with a woodburner. Upstairs, a cozy bedroom and ensuite shower await. The annex, next to the hosts' home, provides flexible arrival with a lock box and access key. Your perfect escape awaits in this idyllic village setting.
