It is well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday including a utility room with washer and dryer. The Gite is a large, converted walnut drying barn and dates back at least 150 years. An impressive space for social living, ideal for families; enclosed garden with its pool (shared) offers a safe space for children to play. There are two other gites on site but all have private terraces offering views across the valley with fields of sunflowers and vines. The owners live on site, in a separate residence, and are always on hand to help. Licensed - able to offer wine tastings 3* classified 2021

We welcome you to our cottage "au son de l'eau", a true haven of peace located at the end of a dead end on the banks of the Charente. Its location makes it a quiet place, ideal for unwinding. This property is divided into 3 independent houses. It is established on a plot of 4000m2. Located on the 'Flow Vélo', you can cycle there on a secure axis. This cycle route connects the Charente maritime estuary to Sarlat La Caneda in the Dordogne over 400km.

Studio indépendant de 30 m² sur parc de 4000m² en bord de rivière et sous les arbres. Accès rivière directement depuis le jardin. Piscine partagée avec nous et chauffée de juin à septembre (accès de 10h à 19h). A 10 min du centre ville d’Angoulême. Un petit coin de paradis : un oasis au coeur de la ville et à une bonne heure des premières plages de la côte Atlantique.

A beautiful stone cottage set in private grounds, down its own track surrounded by cognac vineyards. A 200 year old exterior, with very modern 'Boutique Hotel' style interior with every comfort. Decking and outdoor furniture and use of swimming pool (normally open for 1st of June but can be earlier, depending on weather.)
