Es un antiguo monte alentejano rehabilitado, está aislado, en un paisaje de dehesa, y olivos. El pueblo, Barbacena, está a unos 3kms. Para llegar a la casa hay un camino de unos 400m de tierra por el que puede transitar cualquier vehículo, aunque despacio.
