The house is located in an area of Tuscany called 'GARFAGNANA' (CHIOZZA - Castiglione G.na), located at 800 mt. The last 6 km are of good mountain road but uphill and with curves. It is a recently restored stone farmhouse with a heated pool that can also be used in spring and autumn and a hot tub up to 36 degrees. The house is structured on 3 levels, ideal for family vacations and relaxing days. It is facing SOUTH and you can enjoy a wonderful view of the picturesque mountains the Apuan Alps.-

Surrounded by the countryside of Castiglione di Garfagnana, Agriturismo Valli sits on an ancient rocky hilltop that once served as an outpost of the medieval castle. Originally a farmhouse from the early 1900s, it now welcomes guests with a warm and authentic atmosphere. A small-scale wine production still takes place here, thanks to the vineyard that surrounds the property, preserving the true spirit of Garfagnana. Casa nel bosco is a small, cute cottage in a chestnut grove on a mule track connecting the villages of Chiozza and Castiglione di Garfagnana. The closest parking space is 300 metres from the house. Ideal for up to three people, complete with kitchen bathroom and two bedrooms, the cottage is ideal for those wishing to escape the hussle and bustle of city life. Casa nel bosco is located next to a chestnut flour farm and small campsite, you are welcome to visit and taste our chestnut pancakes.

The farm is on the edge of the medieval walled village of Castiglione. Recently voted as one of the loveliest villages in Italy it has 4 restaurants, cafes and small shops. There is a large courtyard, good for eating outside with BBQ. The large private pool is 14 m by 5 metres with a large sun terrace and fantastic views of the spectacular Apuane Mountains.
