The Studio at Woodfort Estate

Our studio is perfectly placed for stunning views of our mountain and rolling hill landscapes. A weekend get away or longer retreat will be rewarded with privacy and peace to relax inside or on the spacious patio that captures amazing afternoon sunshine and sun sets! The main bedroom is detached from the living and kitchen, which has a fold out couch for extra guests. Relax in the outdoor bath and enjoy the simplicity of living off grid without lacking to many home comforts. Toilet is detached.

Tuis feeding, Kereru perched in Kowhai trees and lots of other native birds darting in and out of the bush. Situated 25mins from Hamilton. Only a 10min drive to the Hakiramata Summit Track and loop track. Te Awa River Trail starts 10mins away at The Point in Ngaruawahia. Raglan by the sea is only 56mins away.

The Quarry Cabin is a brand new build in a disused quarry surrounded by basalt rock. This creates a very unique private and peaceful space. There is a main house on site. This may be occupied by the owner. It is a completely separate dwelling so privacy is maintained. Max 2 guests. No visitors please unless by prior arrangement.

It has a rustic, yet peaceful ambience, just a short walk to the village social spaces - cafes, evening dining and refreshments or relax on the deck. A very short walk to the harbour, various swimming spots/picnic spaces. If you are drawn to our infamous left hand break for a surf, take your vehicle and you will be there in 5 minutes.
