Walks for all abilities from our doorstep. Two medium sized dogs are welcome. Local pubs are dog friendly and we have lots of places to eat locally. Amazing views, a wood burning stove, a very comfy four poster king sized bed, easy to use sofa bed and a fantastic shower have all been in 5* feedback left by many satisfied guests.

The cosy cabin suitable for a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children is a 20min walk to town centre along the scenic River Kent or a 4 minute walk to the fantastic Romney’s pub with its fabulous food & fine ales. The hot tub is lit and heated by the guests themselves.

The Deer Lodge is one of three nearly identical lodges set in a quiet wooded corner of our 20 acre estate on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. There are no roads bordering the guest areas so expect a quiet and peaceful stay, surrounded by nature and away from it all! The lodge has no cooking facilities but has a fridge with icebox as well as a selection of tea & coffee. We have a cosy indoor BBQ hut available to book for the evening with all cooking tools & charcoal provided.
