This is my favorite place to have coffee and write. They have delicious coffee and pasties, and excellent food. The best part, in my opinion, is that they have a second floor loft--this is where I like to write and listen to music.

The best. I go here once a week, at least. Sometimes just to walk around...just kidding. But I do love everything here, and it's super close tot he house. Only a few minutes north on La Brea.

Comfortable seating, and they show awesome movies that do not play in many other theaters. A good place to see indie flicks! Plus, there is a bar next door and a solid restaurant downstairs in the mall.

One of the best (if not the best) movie theaters in the city. First off, they sell a Kids Pack, which is the greatest deal of all time (popcorn, drink, and fruit snack!). Furthermore, they have an excellent selection of movies, and the blockbusters will play in The Dome--it's as cool as it sounds.

Not exactly around the corner, but about 15-20 minutes away by Uber (you'll want to Uber). I do not go out often anymore, but this is my favorite spot. It feels like a house party outside, with fair priced drinks and snacks, and there is usually dancing inside. This place lives up to it's name.

Fan of secret entrances? I've already said too much...this place is amazing. The hype is real. It's in Korea Town, which is a fun place to explore if you are staying in Los Angeles, and is only about 10-15 minutes east of our home.
