They have a very high volume of visitors on weekends and holidays. They limit visitation to protect the natural and cultural resources, to preserve the natural experience for you, and for your safety. The park closes to visitors without reservations when we reach capacity. Guarantee your entry into the park by reserving a day pass up to 30 days before your visit.

The road that leads to the Lake House is Waterway Lane. This is a private drive for the homeowners that are right along Lake Buchanan. The road is paved but narrow. Please be respectful and drive cautiously because their is wildlife traveling also.

You will walk up to huge grills as you enter to pick your slab of meat then go inside for homemade sides. We always get extra because it is even better the next day.

We like to sit in the court yard when the weather is nice. There is a great Mexican Food Restaurant next door to the winery, the margaritas are great as long as you are not the DD.
