Alejandro will drive you along the amazing East Cape in a VW Bus. You will be able to enjoy the nature and landscape of Baja.
Once at the beach, Alejandro will set up a campsite where you and your group will enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, fishing and various beach sports, or just enjoy the splendor of beach watching the beauty of nature and having an amazing and relaxing beach day.
Our family went in January 2020 and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Beginners can start with surf lessons before meeting up with the experts heading out to catch the waves, which are bigger in summer than in winter. The area is also great for snorkeling and swimming. You can rent surf boards and stand-up paddle boards at any of the surf shops in the area and set a time for lessons.

Santiago Waterfall Hike is a 0.6 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Los Cabos Municipality, Baja California Sur, Mexico that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, nature trips, and bird watching. We hired Danny to pick us up and take us on the trail. Surfer's Side of the beach, next to The Rock is Zippers. Here, the waves break really fast, and they are even more challenging. This point break, which has been playing host to the annual Los Cabos Open of Surf since 2013, boasts nice and long speed waves that are very popular with surfers in the area.

Downtown San Jose del Cabo is a very vibrant place to be with lots of activities, restaurants, and shops. There is an Art Walk every Thursday evening. Remember to bring cash as most artisans only accept cash.

The instructors are very knowledgeable and speak both English and Spanish. The classes are small with only 6 reformers. And it is located just up the ramp, turn left and you will find it in the La Jolla Commercial Centre (less than a five minute walk).

Surf in Cabo is a surf school that is only a 10 minute walk on the beach from our place. The instructors are very knowledgeable and safety minded, and they supply the boards. Our adult kids took lessons and loved it.

If you play pickeball, this is the place to go. They have about 10 courts and it is a very active club and the courts are lit for nighttime use. It is about a 10 minute drive from our place.

I love this restaurant because it is intimate and the food and service are spectacular. At the time I am writing this, the restaurant has a fixed menu served family style. There is something for everyone and I find the price very reasonable. Make sure to bring your appetite.

The restaurant is just outside of SJD and worth the trip. One feels as if they are in an oasis. Beautiful!! Try to go early (5pm) so that you can take in all of its beauty.

San Jose del Cabo Art Walk is a must
San Jose del Cabo Art Walk is a popular weekly event held every Thursday evening from 5-9pm between the months of November and June.
Three art pieces in our condo are from the artist Maximiliano Smiriglio, who often displays his art in the city square.
This event was established, promoted, and organized by the Gallery District Association in the hopes of drawing art lovers and tourists away from the Main Square and into our color-filled back streets located behind the church.

San Jose's Estuary and Bird Sanctuary
San Jose del Cabo, the Estuary or Estero San José del Cabo is very close to the Hotel Zone. This beautiful Oasis that gives life to this beautiful biological paradise and it does lead of sweet water during a long journey, which covers more than 40 kilometers, where his perfect accomplice are the mountains of Baja California Sur, then meet the edge Of the Sea of Cortez and to make a wonderful mixture between sweet and salt water, forming a special ecosystem and incomparable.
It is about an hour walk on the beach from our place. I suggest leaving early in the morning (8ish).
