Great coffee, delicious homemade cakes, tasty savoury options, relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. There's also a lovely little courtyard out the back which is great on warmer days.
This fab cafe is just a couple of minutes walk away, turn left out of the building then left again up the steps, follow the road to the end and it the building on the corner across the road from Sainsbury's.

The Yog bar have a great range of delicious frozen yogs, desserts, smoothies, milkshakes and hot drinks. They also sell frozzy's for your dog!

Amazing food, great staff and relaxing atmosphere. The pictures of the plates honestly don't do this restaurant justice! If you decide to visit The Tapas Kitchen for a meal I'd definitely recommend booking in advance, it always seems to be busy and we've been turned away a number of times when attempting to walk in as they've been fully booked!

Walks
Hilbre Islands are three beautiful islands at the mouth of the Dee Estuary, they’re completely cut off from the mainland at high tide but can be walked to at low tide. The walk is approx. 2 miles each way and starts at the West Kirby Marine Lake, you must only walk out from this point and follow the recommended path as there are some areas of sinking sand around the area. It’s also important to check the tide times prior to setting off as the tie comes in quickly, it’s recommended to ensure you leave the islands at least 3 hours before high tide, or longer if a member of the party walks slowly or you enjoy a leisurely stroll. The furthest island is home to the Old Lifeboat Station, that was used before our own Old Lifeboat Station.

The Wirral way is a long path that runs along the coastal estuary of the River Dee and follows the track bed of part of the former Birkenhead Railway Route from West Kirby to Hooton Railway Station. There are plenty of nice places to stop on the way, including Caldy Hill, Thurstaston Beach and Parkgate.
