Playground

2 minute bike ride (0.4 miles) from the property. The park has a playground, covered eating area, and public bathrooms. The main downside to this park is that it does not have any mature trees. Therefore, it has a lot of direct sun. Not the best playground if it is a hot and sunny day.

This is the largest and the most popular playground in Hailey. It is a 13 minute (2.6 mile) bike ride from the property. When riding bikes there, I recommend taking the bike path all the way to Bullion Street and crossing Main Street there because it has a traffic light.

Deerfield Park is one of the best kept secrets in Hailey. Airbnb did not have it in its mapping system. Therefore, I recommend looking up "Deerfield Park" on Maps. This park is only a 9 minute (1.8 mile) bike ride from the property. The route is almost entirely on the bike path. This park is perfect in the morning because the surrounding trees provide shade from the sun. There is also a small hill with a path behind the playground that kids enjoy playing on. Note: the ground around the equipment is covered with sand. Therefore, it is not the best playground to play in after it rains. If it just rained, go to Hop Porter Park instead because the ground there is covered with wood chips that absorb water better.

Heagle Park is within bicycle distance, but it requires crossing two busy intersections and riding on sidewalks next to busy roads for extended periods of time. For that reason, it is not my favorite place to go. But it is a beautiful playground with great views.
