You don't have to sell Korean BBQ. But this place is the best in the area in my not humble opinion :). I met the owner Alex a few times and he knows his business. Check it out (if you don't mind spending 40ish a plate.

Man we love this place. Except for the chairs... Lol. But the shrimp bowls are freaking amazing and the ambiance is pretty great. Has an aquatic theme that beach lovers will vibe with. Maybe get some Pico De Gallo with some chips. Go crazy!

Pizza pizza everywhere and not a diet to be spared. We enjoy Pieology. Pieology is a chain, but a good one. Like a fancy platinum chain from a rap video (we know its a rental chain bro). Sorry I get on tangents. They make the pizza right in front of you so no boogers. Can't beat that!

I mostly go here for beach volleyball on the weekends. Try to get in a pickup game if you can. It's a great time and there are a few sports bars with ocean views. Wear sunscreen, you pasty bastard! Oh that's me.....

Balboa Park is a 1,200-acre (490 ha) urban cultural park in San Diego, California so it's really big. Don't be a hero and wear some comfy shoes. In addition to open space areas, natural vegetation zones, green belts, gardens, and walking paths, it contains museums, several theaters, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo. There are also many recreational facilities and several gift shops and restaurants within the boundaries of the park. Thought the restaurants are meh so maybe eat elsewhere. Also, I believe they museums are free on Tuesdays.

Okay this area is clean and scenic. Why? Because rich people live here!!! Yayyyyyyy!!!! (I don't live here....) They offer a pretty cool kayaking tour here and there are some restaurants. Just know you're paying a bit extra for some basic food. Rich people tax. So I'd eat before going.

They offer a pretty cool kayaking tour here and there are some restaurants. Just know you're paying a bit extra for some basic food. Rich people tax. So I'd eat before going.

This is a pretty beach but not really an active one so don't plan on that. But it's great for a picnic! You want to see a hotel you probably will never stay at? Hotel del Coronado is of interest then. It's pretty famous and has a fancy ball room you can rent for events for about a bazillion dollars.
