360 degree view of Dublin City, the Irish Sea, and the Wicklow Mountains, just a short drive or DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) ride away. This place is typically used by locals only and is in what we would consider the Irish Riviera where Bono, Enya, and Maeve Binchy have their homes. Tourist buses cannot go to its narrow curvy roads. From the apartment you can walk 25 minutes to the Pearse DART station and then take the beautiful 30 min ride along the Irish Sea towards Greystones (which is also a nice village to visit). Get off at Killiney Beach, turn right out of the station and walk up the Hill, past Bono's and Enya's little castle house to the top of the Hill to find the spectacular views. Then you can walk down the other side to the charming village of Dalkey that hosts its own little castle, charming boutique shops and excellent restaurants and pubs. From there you can catch a return DART to the city (HOWTH or MALAHIDE direction). Allow about 2-4 hours for the entire trip. Other plus is that the DART is very cheap.
