Their Sushi is inexpensive, they give you rather large portions, and they are fast! It's not a 'high-class' joint, but rather a place we call and make a take-out order from.
The Albacore Supreme Roll, the Lion King Roll(spicy), and the Crunchy Roll are all regular orders for us.

O'Brien's is a great place to get a pint and some good pub food within a few minutes drive from our house. They regularly have a version of Pliny on tap(for those who know beer). They regularly curate the most interesting craft-beer offerings from local, regional and national breweries.

Not only do they have a very busy nightlife here, they also have great breakfast, lunch and dinner. Because of it's following and being so close to the beach, this place get's crowded! It's music and crowd is pretty hip, and loud most of the time...so upstairs you'll be right in the thick of it, and might take a while to get a drink/food. Downstairs is a bit more mellow, and where most families would choose to sit.

The stunning view from this dog-friendly park is one of the best in San Diego! Go up Lamont Street, and don't miss the very sharp right turn when you see the Kate Sessions Park sign! Across the road is a large park where families have birthday parties and play all kinds of sports.
