Blacksod is great a very irish rual area people make it so nice with stunning views of the Atlantic sea and islands what could you not like, also great walks and cycles. If you are feeling adventurous you could get a boat off blacksod to Inishkea Islands so much history.

Inishkea islands is a personal favourite of mine get a boat out on the Atlantic sea and go on a lovely calm day if you can there is so much wildlife to see and so many walks around the islands with an amazing amount of history. Highly recommend it.

Ballycroy national park is fantastic for getting out and going for walks weather you want a stroll or a proper hike this is great. Lots of cycling tracks as well for those who love to cycle

Crossmolina is a great little town before you get to our house as it has all of the basic shops such as Centra, a few little pubs and a lovely Chinese takeaway called Dragon Palace if you want to get some food and take it back to the house with you.
