An unassuming storefront in a strip mall serving a wonderful totally legit Korean menu. The proprietor is a delightful woman who loves you and wants you to to be happy and well fed. It's like going to your grandma's house. Highly recommended!

This is an intimate dining room in Wilt Chamberlain's old apartment on Mass st. You will spend a lot of money here, but it's likely to be just your party and Chef Mel and you are guaranteed an unforgettable evening. You go in, sit down and she brings out course after course. I won't even try to describe the menu, look at the website or we can talk when you get here. They don't serve drinks but you can bring your own wine and there no corkage fee. Allow three hours for the meal. You will feel happy, loved and content when you leave.

The Replay is a fixture in Lawrence. Always live music, always friendly and super affordable covers. Big patio with coverered seating and gas heat for nice weather events, tiny I mean intimate performance space inside. I've seen many great bands here over the years.

Hiking and mountain biking trail along the river. There is a 10 mile trail that is fast and twisty with an option for a longer loop once you get out there. The trail on the levee is flat and loooooong. An easy ride or walk to the trailhead from our place.
