One of our favorite brunch locations, this corner bar has a great dinner menu too. They have a good size deck for outdoor seating that looks out onto the street for some good local people watching.

My Takeout Preferences
There are no shortage of delivery options in the city, but there can be too many choices. Here's my favorite options for each type of food.
In my opinion, one of the best pizza places in the area and you can't have pizza without buffalo wings, there's are top notch too!

Super cheap, right around the corner, and on point for the price. Don't try to go fancy here, stick with a burger or cheesesteak and a milkshake ordered at 2AM and you'll have a good night sleep. One of the few late night options on the weekend.

For cheap chinese takeout, this is my number one spot. It's cash only and they don't use a delivery app, but it's so worth it. I've tried pretty much every chinese place in the neighborhood and this one is by far the best. They don't need to be on an app or take card because they are so good!

Our go-to place for delivery Indian food. There are some others in the neighborhood that are good, but this one seems to be the most consistently good.

Newer place that does late night, this place has some awesome sandwhiches. Pretty much all are delicious so just throw a dart at the menu and see what happens. You won't regret it.

Their location in Reading Terminal was named the best sandwhich in the country a few years ago, so yea just try it and thank me later. The signature sandwhich, Paesano, is so unbelievably good it's not fair.

Classic Philly dive bar with hipsters and locals. Super cheap, very low-key. Great spot to just sit at a quiet bar and have a drink with friends.

This is a newer option in the neighborhood. A cool little beer garden with cheap food and beer. If you like their beer definitely worth checking out. I'd recommend saving your appetite for one of the better spots nearby as their food options are pretty bare bones and not worth it.
