One of the most traditional and famous Barcelona seafood places, quite peculiar. Set menu, you get what they offer (though after they've served you what they offer, you can ask for more if you're still hungry :). It's a bit expensive, but I heard their seafood is superior, and that is one of Woody Allen's favorite places in Barcelona!

It's a quite curious restaurant: it looks like a fish shop when you get in, so you can choose only the fish and seafood they fished that day. After you choose, they cook it and serve it. There are a few of this, one in El Born, another close to La Sagrada Família and a few others scattered around the city. The food is very good and the experience quite unique.

Lively during the day, quiet during the night, Sant Antoni is a neighbourhood that screams "local": local restaurants, local bars, local shops... You'll find in here the Barcelona that wakes up every morning, goes to work, picks up their children from school and buys groceries for dinner. The neighbourhood's main spot is the Sant Antoni Market, one of the biggest and oldest local markets in Barcelona, where you can see, aside from the typical food and clothes stands, some Roman ruins that have been recently discovered.
