There are some excellent options for dining on the Long Beach Peninsula. Some are closed on certain days, so if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask your hosts or contact the restaurant!
Our favorite restaurant. We can set up dinner reservations for you and try to reserve you the Chef's Table! Located in a Victorian-era train station built in 1890, the feeling is that of a European Bistro. The clam chowder is made by the bowl. The menu is varied and the ingredients are as local as possible. There will be fish and meat specials each night. We love this place.

The DEPOT Restaurant

Located at Cape Disappointment State Park, this pizza is simply fabulous wood-fired thin crust Neopolitan-style pizza. Jim and Chi, the owners, named a pizza after Boreas Inn. Vegetarian with pepperoni! We also love the Skookum pizza. Serious Pizza has outdoor seating where you can watch the eagles fly overhead and hear the ocean.

Pickled Fish has a fabulous ocean view and features farm to table cuisine in a casual bar-like setting. Music nightly, have Boreas make a reservation as it's hard to get in on many nights. It has a great bar also.

Erik and Michelle Svendsen opened North Jetty Brewing two years ago and have been winning awards ever since. No food is served here, but you can bring in whatever you wish or order from the Streetside Taco food trailer by the brewery.

Wonderful breakfasts and lunches located at the Seaview Cottages in Seaview, 2 blocks south of the Yett's Cottage. Great menu of Mexican and "American" choices. Very cozy, fresh and superclean. Anna and Fernando will take good care of you! Take-away is available too!

A view on a clear day up the entire spectacular Long Beach Peninsula beaches to the Olympia Mountain Range. A paved trail from the parking lot of the North Head Lighthouse is a 5 minute walk past WWII military installations through old growth forest to a viewing platform with a view that will knock your socks off.

The Saturday Market at the Port of Ilwaco is open May through September. Hang out with our fishing fleet and about 60 local vendors with their tents up on Saturdays, 10-4. Madeline Dickerson's Pink Poppy cakes and pastries are hand-crafted and as beautiful as they are delicious as well as Simpli Edibles pies and cinnamon rolls made by Marci's with love. They are fabulous.

Eric Weigardt is a nationally known water-colorist. His work is collectible and beautiful. We highly recommend visiting his gallery which is open limited days per week or by appointment. Many guests buy treasured water color pieces from Eric.

Flowers, fish, scenery, done in a way nobody else does. Between Marie and Eric Weigardt's work, there are none better in the NW. Her gallery is located on the Port of Ilwaco by the fishing fleet. She is inspiring.

Parks & Nature
The waves coming past your view from the picnic area on the North Jetty Road at Cape Disappointment State Park, can appear higher than the place you're viewing from. The storms are phenomenal from this view point over the surf with a view to the Cape Disappointment Lighthouse. Bell's View and Waikiki Beach, whose name is almost as old as the "other" Waikiki Beach, are views we never tire of. Inspiring, quiet except for the noise of the surf. The only truly safe swimming beach with surfing. This is Columbia River water, not the ocean, hard to believe because it's inside the jetties by the mighty Columbia River Bar. The water here can even get warm-ish in the summer because it's the river.
