Nice walking trail for kids, families, pets. Do not need a lot of hiking experience to enjoy this one. Can get pretty busy during weekends.

Waterfalls, pristine lake, snow up top- worth it for the views! Tough but worth the challenge if you are up for it. Even in July you will encounter snow. Trekking poles and snow spikes are recommended..!!

I cant say enough good about this museum! For such a small town and being run by volunteers. This is FANTASTIC! Even if you don't like history. The kids will find this interesting. Interactive. So many different rooms, nooks, two levels filled with really cool artifacts. From railroad, medical, firefighting, coal mining, various miliary service branch... it really is one of the best little museums I've ever been to and I'm so proud of it. I hope you take the time to check it out and support.

Walkability is good due to flat landscape.

Chappel Bridge. If you want to float down the river to the cabin. You could start here and float to cabin. Inquire with host beforehand please- this will take some planning. Super fun summer favorite though.
