Parks & Nature
It is an easy hour walk there and back and the bay is stunning as the Pohutakawa trees grow close to the beach. Well worth the walk.

Several great walks or bike trails to follow here. Lovely views and lots of information along the way. You could finish up with a meal at several places along the State Highway.

Sightseeing
It provides great information about the Waihi Mine with a tour through the Info Centre that is well worth the time. You could then walk across the street and up the hill to look down into the mine pit.

Everything Else
There are several permanent sculptures along Seddon St; and Arts centre that sells some beautiful pieces; Tutto Teas is one of my favourite shops with quirky items for sales and you can have a cuppa and a scone as you shop! The Museum has been refurbished but I haven't been yet.
