Can't go wrong with this place. Jack Kerouac spent most of his time in SF here and it has a great vibe. The artist's bar. Sit upstairs for more intimacy and better views.

Historic! Been around since the 1930s. More upscale with fantastic cocktails (they are known for their coffee cocktails!) Dinner is great if you choose to grab a table. A very romantic place for sure.

Another of my favorite bars and/or restaurants. Delicious dinner and drinks. Really recommend the Bourbon Banana Bread Pudding while you dine accompanied by live music performed from a balcony.

Lovely park to sit and enjoy the sun! Nobody will care if you bring a bottle of wine, either. On weekends art dealers set up their works, and you'll usually encounter folks practicing Tai Chi.
