There are a lot of mosquitoes in Holbox so we strongly recommend bring bug spray, organic to protect the oceans is better, you can find them at the island

Extreme place
Holbox is an extreme place, so please take in consideration that there is no 24hrs hospital and no pediatrician at the island! It is a wild place so many bugs and animals can be found, sand roads so hard for strollers. We raised our daughter here so it is fine but we do like letting people know about this, specially first time parents.
