The London Bridge connecting the island to McCulloch Blvd is the actual bridge from London!! Originally built in the 1830s, it was dismantled and put back together piece by piece starting in 1968. The bridge was purchased by Robert P. McCulloch to attract potential land buyers when he was developing the town.
To learn more about the bridge's history and how Lake Havasu City was founded you can visit the Visitor Center located in the English Village on the North East end of the bridge.

The city is small, but in the heat you'll want a way to travel around with A/C! Ubers/Lyfts are readily available, but the town offers plenty of free parking so having your own car is easy too!

The Channel
If you're looking for a party, some good people watching, or just easy access to hang out in the water, the channel is where it's at! There is limited free parking, so if you're planning to spend the day, I'd plan to get there before 10am, even earlier on a busy weekend.

Boat Slip - Lake Havasu Marina
If you're planning to bring your boat or jet skis, you may consider booking a slip prior to your trip. They do fill up fast on during the summer, so book early! If you can't get a slip, the house is only a 5min drive to Windsor Launch ramp. With 6 lanes on each side, it's very easy to drop/pull the boat!
