A coffee shop with light fair in the middle of Coler park. But most importantly, it’s a beautiful place to sit. You can’t drive directly here. It’s a .7 mile walk/bike on a paved trail from the northern Coler parking lot, and along the way you’ll pass a singing bridge.

Counter serve. I usually get the pulled pork sandwich. Make sure to ask for pickles. Sarah loves the chicken bacon ranch sando. Occasionally they have a beef rib special, which is divine though pricey and intense! It’s a convenient place to get a quality meal to go—even when there’s a line it moves pretty fast. If you’re ordering bulk for a large group you can order ahead and pick up next door to skip the main line entirely. Tip: there is also additional indoor seating next door.

Delicious Açaí bowls. Get the Lemon Squeeze and ask for blueberries, strawberries, and bananas on top. A word of warning, we’ve had bad luck with their smoothies.

World class restaurant. Great vibe and excellent service but not stuffy like traditional fine dining. Fun specialty cocktails. Large wine selection. I can’t recommend anything in particular because everything we tried was phenomenal. Special occasion? go here.

This place is a one-hit wonder breakfast joint. Get the Belgian waffle. Order the “Trifecta” for an addition $2 and it comes with 2 eggs done any way and sausage or bacon on the side. Make sure to ask for “real maple syrup”.

Bustling Mexican restaurant with a lot going for it. The menu has a lot of taco “plates” but I recommend ordering them a la carte to mix it up. The Green Chile Stew is delicious. Since most of the things on the menu are quite good, here are some things to watch out for: their tortilla chips are too thick and greasy. If you do get the chips anyway, they come with your selection of salsas but the zucchini salsa is the only real standout. The carnitas is stringy, not crispy, which is the way it’s served at most places — it’s still good but not great for this reason.

Airbnb won’t let me add a venue which doesn’t exist in G00gle’s directory and Pinky Swear, a small lounge/bar/restaurant which you access by first entering Onyx and then climbing a set of stairs in the back. The food menu has only 8 items, 4 of which are pizza. The food is phenomenal. The cocktails are exceptional. Every little detail has been thought about here from the record-motif menu down to the ice cubes which reveal the Pinky Swear logo as your drink disappears. They don’t take reservations so the best time to arrive is 5pm when they open. There are only 2 or 3 proper dining tables, the rest of the seating is at the long bar or in the lounge. And if a semi-secret venue nestled inside of another venue wasn’t enough intrigue, there is a secret door within Pinky Swear that leads to yet an even more secret restaurant that requires reservation, but that’s hard to come by. I stumbled into it while I was looking for the men’s room.
