With flavors out of this world, Irie’s offers lunch and dinner in a casual island atmosphere. Take a culinary world tour on the menu featuring flavors from Hawaii, Asia, Tex-Mex, and other international cuisine prepared fresh by Irie’s chef/owner. The tacos are some of the best on the island with extra large house made tortillas packed with a variety of options – shredded pork, fried chicken, panko mahi, island BBQ chicken, garlic shrimp, pork and poblano, and more…all topped with the chef’s signature sauces. From the sweet and spicy Red Dragon to the cool and refreshing sour dill tartar, it's all about the sauce! You can’t go wrong with any of the salads on the menu, and the Jumbo Po Boy packed with your choice of fried flounder, shrimp, veggies, or bay scallops is a local favorite. Rice Bowls offer a culinary twist on Asian cuisine, while the plates of Sea Hog enchiladas and crab rellenos offer a taste of fresh Tex-Mex like nothing you have had before. Finish off your meal New Orleans style beignets made from scratch and served with a cup filled to the brim with their own roasted coffee. If you have adventurous eaters in tow, bring the whole group. Sit inside the restaurant, or outside on the patio, or even take your meal to go.

Visit the historic Aransas Pass Lydia Ann Lighthouse which originally opened in 1856. Protecting a natural pass from the Gulf of Mexico to Aransas and Corpus Christi, the Lydia Ann Lighthouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and it's the second-oldest lighthouse along the Texas Coast. The lighthouse was deactivated in 1952, with just shy of 100 years of service along the Texas Gulf Coast. Today, the lighthouse serves as an iconic spot to visit as it's the oldest surviving structure in the Port Aransas/Corpus Christi area. You can only reach the lighthouse via boat or kayak, and you're sure to see some dolphins and other aquatic life during your visit. The lighthouse itself is privately owned so you can only view the structure from the public waterway. Local boat tours will take you past the structure.
