If you go to the Gorge or go through Mossman you need to stop of at this great little health food store. They have the best soft serve yoghurt ice-cream and I have been having the same ice-cream as a kid. But make sure you get there before school gets out at 3pm, otherwise the chance is, it will all be gone! ;) They also have great pre-made wraps and salads.

Great pub grub! Get there around 4/4.30pm to try and get a table right on the water for sunset. It is a great view watching all the boats coming in from their day out on the reef.

Sightseeing
This is also one of my favorites. When I feel a little stressed I go and sit with the birds or feed the wallabies and kangaroos. Great place and nice to walk along the boardwalk. There are also some very friendly Cockatoos!

This was the old catholic church up on the hill until it got moved to it's current location. Check it out and the glass window overlooking the ocean

Great place to take a picnic and go for a walk through the forest. This is one of my favorite place and no crocodiles! ;) You can easily spend a few hours swimming and lazing on a rock reading a book or just listening to the water flow down the river.
