Sightseeing
Nice 4-mile roundtrip on an old jeep trail to a beautiful mountain lake. Take a left out of the neighborhood onto the pavement and keep going ~4 miles to the trailhead.

Beautiful out and back to Goose Lake. Challenging hike to the top (see current trail conditions before planning an all day hike to the lake), but a great trail to just hike until you feel like turning around or the kids get tired. Borders Goose Creek which is excellent fishing for little brook trout.
