This quaint little restaurant is the best around and our favorite! Sal is there cooking and is happy to greet you after your dinner. It's definitely worth trying. The calamari is our favorite appetizer and any of the pasta dishes are delicious. Sal always offers a special on the weekends.

This is a good lunch spot but an even better spot for dinner. Dinner service is only offered Thursday through Saturday. There's also a small gift shop and wine store in the restaurant.

This is a neat little lunch spot nested in a local nursery/greenhouse. They offer the best lunch selections using fresh fruits, vegetables and ingredients from their garden. They also have delicious baked goods and a wine and beer menu.

This is the best pizza/sub spot in town. Everything on the menu is delicious! Our favorite thing on the menu are the "Fat Boys"! The restaurant is connected to a Shell gas station but don't let that fool you - the food is delicious!

Woodstock is the county seat of Shenandoah County. The main street scene offers shops, restaurants, a brewery, a great ice cream shop and a bakery (Flour and Water). The town also hosts a Wal Mart, Food Lion, CVS and Wal Greens. In the summer time, you usually can catch a baseball game - The Woodstock River Bandits (Valley League Baseball Collegiate team).
There's also a nice town park (WO Reilly Park) along with the Seven Bends State Park, the Woodstock Tower and Muse Vineyard.
