Drinks & Nightlife
This is a personal favorite, but aside from my own preference, this winery has a 360 degree view of Paso Robles. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you can enjoy wine tasting in the cool tasting room, under a shaded umbrella or while playing bocci ball! On many summer weekends, the winery has live music and fresh pizza (from their pizza oven). Oh did I mention, I have not tasted a single wine there that I did not love? Lots of care put into their product.

Eberle Winery
3810 CA-46This winery is located right off highway 46 East. The staff continues to be friendly and engaging. The wine is dependable and delicious. More importantly... they have CAVE TOURS! The winery has a beautify view especially in the late afternoon as the sun sets over the western hills beyond Paso Robles.
Firestone is always a good option, but Barrelhouse is a personal favorite. The brewery is much more enticing as a casual place to taste some tasty (and creative) brews. Th he space includes an up close and personal view of their brewing equipment, several TVs in case your favorite game is on, and a relaxing outdoor layout complete with waterfall, lights and a stage. Friday nights at this place are a must with live music and outstanding food trucks! Pet friendly if you like to travel with a pet like I do.

This truly is a gem. It is tucked back on the wine trail located west of Paso Robles off Vineyard Dr. The owner is probably one of the most friendly and humble people I have met in the wine industry. If it was economically realistic, I would own every bottle they made; but the real secret is their bubbly which they quickly sell out of.

Hearst Castle is William Randall Hearst's famous estate. There is an immense amount of history and information, but to give you a taste of what this place offers: incredible architecture, breathtaking views of the central coast, exotic wildlife (as in zebras), and engaging tours.

You may even get lucky and spot whales, dolphins, sea lions or countless other creatures.

This hike is fairly steep, but take your time if you need and you will be rewarded with incredible views of the surrounding valleys, neighboring dormant volcanoes (peaks known as the 7 sisters) and, if the weather cooperates, the coast line stretching from Montana de Oro to Morro Bay
