Underwood is a good place for drinks, tapas, or dinner. You can go with a date, or by yourself and sit and the bar to meet some fun locals. They have bocce ball in the back, too!

Mom's beach is the closest beach to the house. It's about an 8-10 minute walk, but you can drive and park in the parking lot if you have small children and don't want to cross the street with them

Mom's beach is the closest beach to the house. It's about an 8-10 minute walk, but you can drive and park in the parking lot if you have small children and don't want to cross the street with them
This is the place to go if you want a sandwich on the way to Mother's beach, or if you need random food stuffs or snacks you forgot to bring!

Parks & Nature
Steelhead beach is about a mile east of the house. There's a lot more parking there, and this is a good place to start if guests want to do a shorter (~4+ hours) float down to Mother's beach by the house. Mom's beach has free parking.
There is a parking pass available for Steelhead beach for guest use. If guests lose the pass, they'll need to pay for a replacement ($75).

Banshee is by far our favorite tasting room in nearby Healdsburg. The ambience is so laid back -- relax on vintage wingback chairs while they play records & tell you about their locally sourced fruit. The price point isn't bad, either.
