From its location in a shopping center with Whole Foods, you would not suspect what wonderful food and atmosphere you will find inside! It is our go-to, special occasion place. Great variety in Italian food, wonderful piano music, fine service.

Southwest-style food - yum! Delicious sweet potato chips and smoky salsa on every table. Food is wonderful - as spicy as you want it or not too spicy! They have terrific dishes for those who are watching their diet.

It's the home of the first frozen margarita! Who knew they weren't around before the 70s? Several different margaritas to choose from - and each is cleverly and thoughtfully presented. Food is so good! You can get traditional Mexican dishes as well as Tex-Mex.

The canyon is so close to us, and it's a tucked-away spot that is very surprising! I love the short trail and the interesting terrain. It's easy to park, hop out, walk the trail, and check out nature - all for free.

Adjacent to River Legacy Parks, River Legacy Living Science Center is a 12,000 square foot nature center at 703 NW Green Oaks Boulevard– featuring interactive environmental exhibits, terrariums and aquariums with native wildlife, exhibit hall, self-exploration stations, nature trails, a pond, a gift shop and Free Saturday programs. Nestled into a clearing of existing land contours and oak groves, the nature center has a sustainable design that has a minimal impact on the environment. Open M-Sat, 9 to 5. Closed on Sunday.
The Center offers environmental education programs – including Nature School – and offers a full calendar of public programs and events.

Entertainment & Activities
You will not regret going on a tour of the AT&T Stadium, even if you have been to an event there. Our tour was led by a retired high school football coach who was so excited to be sharing what he knew with us. He had interesting stories about the giant scoreboard, knew how many television sets are in the place, took us to the million dollar boxes, explained the process for switching the field surface from one event to another - a true behind the scenes tour. We'd love to go again!
