A wonderful and peaceful walkway alongside the harbour's edge in beuatiful bush at the bottom of the driveway. Walk left to the top of the estuary or right to come out by the one way bridge. Turn right to go straight into town or cross the bridge and turn right for the campsite and innher harbour beaches.

There are two tramps up the mountain. Te Toto Gorge way takes 3 and a half hours and there is also a two hour track from behind the mountain. Great bush and the views on a sunny day are awesome

Beautiful waterfall in bush covered reserve. Great views from the top and an easy 15 minute descent to the viewing platform at the bottom. I love the Nikau palms on this walk. Go early mornings as can get quite crowded.

A great little cafe serving amazing coffee and popular pizza squares amongst other things. We often stop here on our walk along the Kaitoke walkway into town. Just up the hill across the one way bridge.
