Nannerth Ganol, artists retreat cottage

Nannerth Ganol is an old 16th Century farm. On our site we have The Cottage, main Longhouse with large garden and workspace for creatives. Our accommodation is busy with cyclists, walkers and music and media workers. Head into the Elan Valley and surrounding area directly from our location. It hosts people from the music industry who have come here to write/record . We are very isolated , so perfect if you want to get away from everything. You can relax/create or go explore. I also do food.

St Mark's School

Relax and unwind in this beautiful converted 1880s school. Plenty of original school features are still on display. Situated 15mins drive from the royal Welsh show ground in Builth, 15mins from Rhayader and the Elan Valley, 15mins from Spa town Llandrindod wells, just over an hour to Aberystwyth and west coast beaches, it is the ideal location! The house sits on the edge of a forestry leading up a hill with stunning views and lots of dog friendly walks/bike rides. Ideal for fishing in the Wye!

Dolfan Barn Studio is so named because an artist once worked here, prior to that it was a cow byre. Just under a mile out of the village of Beulah the Studio is a perfect place to unwind. You will find plenty of wildlife to watch from the patio including Pheasants Squirrels and Red Kites. The village has a service station, shop and "The Trout Cafe" serving good home cooked food. Bryn Derw annexe is a beautiful studio with stunning views over the Severn Valley, with a large south-facing patio. We have numerous walks on our doorstep, a 3 minute stroll to the River Severn and are a stone's throw from Llandinam Gravels Nature Reserve. We are also approximately 1 mile away from Plas Dinam Country House. It has a fully equipped kitchen and large comfortable chairs - perfect for a short break or longer holiday. Relax and unwind in this tranquil setting.

The Garden House

Relax in our garden house in rural Shropshire. You'll be greeted by curious cats and chickens...and probably Allan and me. There's some fabulous walks, a lovely local and some pretty market towns all within easy reach. There's lots of interesting CDs to to play, is all we ask is that you return the CD to its case and to the appropriate place in the shelf.

Nestled along the Wye Valley and Cambrian mountain Gwardolau cottage is an 1850's extension to the main Gwardolau house, formerly the servants quarters, it is set down a quiet country lane, in a beautiful rural location along the upper Wye Valley, 1.5 miles from the centre of Rhayader and overlooking the surrounding countryside.
