Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. The Snug at Mill Barn - rural retreat

Tucked away in a peaceful location, this new open plan conversion was finished in September 2019. Completed to a high standard, this cosy space provides an idyllic hideaway. Stockland and Steart Marshes can be accessed immediately opposite the Snug and the coast is five minutes drive away. Ideal for country walks, cycling and bird watching. A selection of walks to explore are provided by the owners. Ample parking and use of owners tranquil garden for relaxation. Perfect escape for couples.

The Old Stables

Hidden away in a unique rural setting on the Somerset Levels.  Light, airy and cosy with log burner. Looking out of the glass frontage you will find our alpacas, goats, ponies and various poultry . Right on the edge of nature reserves this is perfect for cyclists and bird watchers. In the winter months you can witness the famous murmurations. A cosy country retreat, on the edge of the beautiful village of Over Stowey, with stunning views over the Quantock Hills - the perfect location for those looking to enjoy the great outdoors whether in the hills or by the sea, or maybe you’re just looking for a quiet peaceful spot to relax and unwind. The Milking Parlour has been lovingly converted to the highest standards from the old stone dairy barn in 2021/22. We aim to provide a unique and comfortable place for our guests to enjoy.

A beautiful hand built cabin nestled in the woods, idyllic setting next to a stream and surrounded by magnificent trees, the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature. Found at the end of an unmade track, with miles of nothing but woodland walks and wonderful hills to explore on foot or bike. Situated next to a stream with a glass bridge and beautiful little waterfall, with its own plunge pool. The hot shower and compost loo are set in a quirky horse box accessed across a board walk.

The Roost

The Roost is a unique 1 bed property nestled within the Quantock Hills (AONB). Its tranquil secluded setting has far reaching and panoramic views over the Brendon Hills and Exmoor. A stones throw away from the Roost are extensive bridal and footpaths onto the Quantock Hills, where you can enjoy a number of activities all surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and picturesque views. Nestled here, in the heart of Somerset, seated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the historic, peaceful and quaint village of Nether Stowey. The Cottage is surrounded by stunning countryside walks, the beautiful 'Coleridge Way' and The National Trusts own 'Coleridge Cottage' in celebration of the English Poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

Gorgeous Quantock Cottage

This bright stonebuilt cottage is located up a verdant combe in the magnificent Quantock Hills. Outside the front-door is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Ancient beech, ash and oak woodland rise to the Iron Age fort on Danesborough hill. Whortleberries abound in Summer on the bracken and heather covered slopes. The coast is a 15 minute drive or an hours gentle walk to Kilve. Need more room? Then try its neighbour, and big sister, 'Gorgeous Quantock House'.
