Just step outside the house onto long walking trails, go cycling on the forest tracks or just sip a glass of local wine and enjoy the unbelievable views. There are summer festas and weekly markets in most of the local villages.

Our house is on the same property, with two more guest rooms, a shared kitchen, bathroom, and a dry composting toilet in the garden. We provide a mosquito net in summer and an electric heater in winter.

The windmill is the perfect place to stay for some quiet time; with 360 degree views of the mountains, and just the sounds of the birds and the breeze to accompany you, you will leave feeling relaxed and inspired.

Watch the sun and moon rise from your veranda, relax in the hammock strung between orange trees or take a dip in your own private saltwater plunge pool (5m x 3m x 1.2m). For breakfast or lunch you can buy fresh artisan bread, delivered daily, and pick and juice oranges straight from the garden (seasonally dependent).
