Carry on walking down the concrete road way and take the steps down to the The Wharf restaurant or go to the famous fish and chip shop directly on the wharf. Failing that town is a 15 minute walk away.

Situated on the edge of a small orchard of feijoa fruit trees over looking native bush and farmland with a stream running through it. The cottage has a private setting with a large deck area. The property is on state highway two, 2 minutes to Katikati town which has a large variety of dining choices and services including a large supermarket .20 minutes to the city of Tauranga ,the beach & Mount Maunganui.Beautiful Waihi beach is approximately 12-15 minutes drive away.

It is set in the grounds of the owner's residence. 15 mins walk to stunning beaches and a short drive to Mount Maunganui, Rotorua & Whakatane. Things to do - swimming, walking, boating, diving, surfing, fishing, & relaxation. Within a 10 minute walk - cafe/restaurant, shop, fish and chips. Fine dining and bottle shop a 7 minute drive.

The Borders

This is a two bedroom self contained modern studio. Only ten minutes from central Taupo and two minutes to a beautiful lake. It is a quiet restful location with a rural outlook. Plenty of parking and fitted out with everything you will need. We are eco friendly with lots of sustainability features. A continental breakfast is provided.
