The house is lakefront & features a private dock in a quiet cove, perfect for swimming or just hanging out! Bring your lake toys or rent a boat during your stay. Several kayaks, a paddle board & various floats are available onsite.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.

Looking for mountain serenity or adventure? Our newly renovated pet friendly cabin w/ Starlink internet has you covered! Car and bike enthusiasts will enjoy our close proximity to the Tail of the Dragon and other exciting roadways in the area. If a train or horseback ride is more your speed head to Bryson City. There are also endless hiking options with nearby access to The Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, The Great Smoky Mountain Nat'l Park, Appalachian Trail and The Nantahala forest.

The first floor bedroom has a queen bed and bathroom just across the hall. The second floor is a large open loft with king bed and bathroom. Whitewater rafting, zip-lining, Great Smokey Mountain Railroad, mountain biking, Appalachian Trail, Tail of the Dragon, Fontana Lake, and hiking trails in the national park are nearby. Pet Friendly

We also feature free WI-FI and a Roku T.V. -watch from the living room or master bedroom. We have spacious parking and a nice lounging area out back. We are 17 miles from the Dragon ,Highway 129 and we only a mile away from the AT. We have Satellite Internet so be prepared for Wi-Fi calling. Driveway is loose gravel up hill.

Knotty & Nice - Mtn Views Near Tail of the Dragon

Our cozy mountain home has breathtaking views of Smoky Mountain National Park from all main living spaces. With two living rooms, large outdoor deck, and nearly 1.5 acres, there is no shortage of space to spread out. This home is nestled just a short drive up the mountain from Fontana Village resort/marina and 10 miles from the Tail of the Dragon. It includes a carport and is easily accessible by paved roads and a circular paved driveway.
