Hafod Hedd is set in a beautiful private woody location on a the banks of a river. It is the perfect get away for adventurous souls who wish to escape the modern world! Cooking, heating and hot water are provided by a real fire, light is provided by candles, and the loo is an eco-friendly compost toilet. The real highlight is bathing under the stars in a pair of al fresco baths. This dwelling is only suited to able bodied adults as there are steep paths, hot fires, and drops into the river.

Approx 4 miles from Betws y Coed and Llanrwst. Good base for outdoor activites in the area like Zip world, Bounce Below etc. with the coasts of Llandudno/Colwyn Bay approx 20 miles from farm. At 1150 feet above sea level Hafod y Rhedwydd is one of the 12 highest houses in Wales and completely off-grid - private water supply, electricity by petrol generator, broadband via satellite - in the Snowdonia National Park and surrounded by National Trust land with amazing views. The cottage lies 8 miles from Betws y Coed on the northern edge of the Migneint, a 200 square mile SSSI and Conservation Area that is home to a rich variety of wildlife including Hen Harriers and polecats.
