This recently-improved cabin is smack dab in the middle of a multitude of recreational opportunities. The idea was to create an experience of being up in the trees and close to nature. Building a space small enough that it immediately becomes your own yet comfortably spacious, open and filled with light. A place to relax with all the amenities and still be immersed in the beauty of the mountain woods.

From the Hart Farm: Pisgah Room (Room #1 of 2)

My farm is 8 miles from Brevard and a 45 min. drive to downtown Asheville. I am nestled between Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest, which means unlimited hiking, waterfalls, swimming, kayaking and fishing. Cyclers will enjoy being on one of the many routes, while mountain bikers can enjoy forest trails and challenge themselves to the Oskar Blues Reeb Ranch. Equestrian folks can avail themselves to our local horse boarders and ride in both forests. There is something for everyone!

Allewelt Creekside Cabin 5 acres of Forest & creek

We offer 5 beautiful, private and quiet acres of forest in Cedar Mountain. The cabin is just 1.5 miles from the entrance of Dupont Forest. Bike or hike the trails and come back to put your feet in the creek at one of the most relaxing places you'll find. Lots of space for your dog or kids run and explore. BIG yard with a creek, bonfire pit and rope swigs overlooked by the large porch of the cabin above is perfect after a day on the trail. The 1/4 mile of creek has a trail to explore as well.

Welcome to Catahoula Lodge! This beautifully renovated mountain cabin is situated on 4+ acres of wooded privacy. Inside you will find spacious bedrooms, brand new bathrooms, cabinets, countertops and appliances! Two wood stoves and a beautiful rock chimney provide that great cabin experience. Enjoy the wrap-around porches that surround all sides of the house. The large fenced yard provides security for kids or pets. Mountain stream on our northern border completes the experience.

Treetop Cabin

The cabin is centrally located among world class hiking, biking, and breweries. There are virtually no mosquitoes, and our microclimate makes this area significantly cooler than Asheville. There’s a ton of cool stuff to check out, and a clean, contemporary space to come home to. The cabin was a former artists’ retreat, it has an open floor plan, high ceilings, crisp AC, and Netflix. Stock up on fresh, local beer, produce and moonshine and make some memories :)

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space located minutes away from DuPont Forest and the Mountain Bridge Wilderness. Enjoy listening to the birds and eating your meals on the all-seasons porch. Walk down to the Little River. Drive five minutes to the charming crossroads of Cedar Mountain and less than 9 miles to downtown Brevard or to "Pretty Place." Prepare fresh produce bought at the Whistlestop in the abundantly supplied kitchen.
