Perfect for a self-catering stay, downstairs is open plan, with spacious kitchen, dining and lounge areas, and a toilet; upstairs has two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.

It's the ideal base for enjoying nearby beauty spots (being roughly half way between the Brecon Beacons National Park & the Elan Valley). A maximum of 2 small dogs would be very welcome.

Based on a beef and sheep farm, just 8 miles from Builth Wells, 14 miles from Hay-on-Wye and 15 miles from Brecon. It is in a sunny, scenic, rural spot. Access to numerous footpaths, only a 10 minute hike to join the Wye Valley Walk. 10 minute drive or a scenic walk to local rural pub. Old Great House is a stunning traditional 16th century farmhouse - accommodates up to 10 people - 3 king/double rooms and 1 twin room on the second floor and a large attic double room on the third floor. This has been tastefully restored and includes many original features including a large inglenook fireplace and wooden panelling. Oak floor boards and oak stairs have been fitted to retain the original style of the property and has been tastefully furnished with many antique pieces.
