Located close to transport (train and bus), extensive parklands and the Yarra River, the CBD and hospitals. Whether you are here for a place to rest your head, a work trip, a Melbourne event, visiting family or something else, you will find the space central, quiet, comfortable and welcoming. You will be sharing the backyard with my friendly spoodle puppy, Harry.

This one-bedroom apartment has everything you’ll need to enjoy a long or short-term stay in Melbourne. Located on the Yarra River, be immersed in nature whilst having easy access to explore popular nearby suburbs such as Northcote, Collingwood, Fiztroy and the CBD. You will have access to a private shared sitting area on the bank of the Yarra River just down from the apartment. But it is also only a five minute walk to the historic Fairfield Boathouse and various hiking tracks along the Yarra.

Spacious renovated apartment in the garden behind our 19th century Victorian house with its own entrance along the side path. Close to several parks, swimming pool/gym/tennis complex, and Queens Parade shopping strip. The neighbourhood is 4 km from the Melbourne CBD, and 100 meters from 86 tram to city and train station, and bus line along Hoddle Street. All this provides easy access to city, MCG, Rugby Stadium, Tennis Centre, Theatres and NGV. We are empty nesters with a kelpie dog, Peppy.

Welcome to my bright and comfy, fully equipped first floor flat in Alphington, approx 7km from the CBD. Nestled at the end of a tree-lined street with lots of natural light and a short walk to Fairfield Train Station (17mins train ride to the city, 14mins to the MCG) and Fairfield Village filled with restaurants, cafes and shops of all kinds. Street parking and bike paths are directly outside. The Yarra River, Fairfield Boathouse and Darebin Parklands are all close by.

Patricia's Place - cosy, quirky, vintage shopfront

If you're looking for 5 star luxury, and marble bathrooms...then 'Patricia' isn't the place for you! What you will love is the welcoming and inviting spaces. My mum 'Patricia' was pretty quirky, and so is this whimsical place. 100 years old, and an Alphington institution...this adorable shopfront is one of the areas most loved and iconic buildings. The interior is warm and spacious, with plenty of room to rest or work, and everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Close to public transport (train, tram, bus) giving quick access to the city's business, sports & entertainment precincts. Walking access to the numerous and vibrant cafes & restaurants, bars and intimate music venues of Northcote. Yarra river parkland nearby within easy walking. One bedroom with separate study/living room or second bedroom. Our place is good for couples, business travellers, solo adventurers and families with stair-wise kids.
