Built with wood from Wyoming snow fencing, mountain laurel hand railings, West Virginia red oak flooring and walls covered with Poplar tree bark, the cabin includes a king size pillow top bed, a sleeper sofa in the living area and a beautiful futon made from birch. On those chilly nights, sit by the stone fireplace or soak in the private outdoor hot tub or enjoy a fire in the firepit along the banks of the creek.

Less than 25 min to downtown Asheville and minutes from the quaint mountain towns of Marshall and Mars Hill. Enjoy activities like hiking, skiing, and zip lines. This modern log home is the perfect getaway if you are looking for peace, quiet, and crystal clear star gazing! Located on 200 private acres, Wilderness Lodge is a private, remote, and cozy retreat. The kitchen comes fully equipped and the house has laundry machines on the main floor. There is a small general store minutes away.
