Greta Cottage is a quaint, stone built, end terrace cottage situated overlooking a wooded open land alongside the River Greta. It is located on the edge of the charming village of Burton-in-Lonsdale. There are many walks from the cottage across fields, through woods and along the peaceful River Greta. It is in perfect striking distance for walking and exploring the Dales and Lake District. Ingleton, Kirkby Lonsdale and Settle are all within easy reach. The Three Peaks challenge is nearby.

The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. The cottage is in the small village of Gressingham in the beautiful Lune valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. There is easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales national parks. In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
