Nestled in the tiny hamlet of Broughton Beck just 40 minutes to the centre of the Lake District, the Stable is a peaceful retreat away from the crowds and is a perfect base to explore the Southern Lake District and Morecambe Bay Peninsulas. Situated on the lower ground floor of a traditional 200 year old Cumbrian Bank Barn the Stable has charm and character yet modern day comforts. Nearby Ulverston, has regular festivals and many independent shops and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets.

Self-contained studio flat in beautiful location

The Bedsit is attached to our beautiful Victorian family house, only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Kendal, hidden from sight within its own grounds, with a stunning garden. It has plenty of private parking and is only a short walk from the station - an ideal base for exploring the Lake District. The Bedsit is a private apartment, accessed through my costume workshop. We enjoy hosting visitors from all around the world, hoping that they will feel comfortable and welcome during their stay.

Granary Cottage - king bed EV Charger large garden

Superb semi detached cottage with two bedrooms, large garden & private parking within the grounds just 2 miles from Cartmel & Newby Bridge at the South end of Lake Windermere. Granary Cottage has a EV charger for vehicle charging. Vehicle charging is charged at 50p per kwh unit. The dining room has great views with a pair of French doors in to the living room which has a large double sofa bed & another pair of doors in to the garden.. The master bedroom is en suite with a 2nd Jack & Jill door.

The cottage is less than a 5 minute walk from the main street in Sedbergh village and the Yorkshire Dales Way is right outside the front door. It has been furnished to a high standard and is the ideal getaway. This chocolate box village has stunning hikes, bike rides, wild swimming, golf and fishing for the outdoor type. The cottage is in the small village of Gressingham in the beautiful Lune valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. There is easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales national parks. In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
