Historic 18th century cottage reputedly the birthplace of Jane Evans who nursed with Florence Nightingale. Peaceful location, lots of character offering comfortable open plan living with original features and cosy wood-burning stove. Fully enclosed private garden, great for dogs, easy access to nearby countryside and coast - a great base to get the best out of this fantastic area. This area is a haven- wildlife/outdoor enthusiasts, with opportunities for walks, fishing, birdwatching & mountain biking. Visit Cwm Rhaeadr Forest/Lyn Brianne Dam/Reservoir/Y Bannau Brycheiniog park & iconic Pen Y Fan.

Idyllic Peaceful Hideaway

Meadow Cottage is a welcoming, cosy two bedroomed retreat raised from the ruin of a Welsh longhouse. It nestles in a beautiful valley flanked by trees and hills and is the perfect place for a relaxing break. As you approach the property along the narrow country lane, be prepared to fall into the embrace of this peaceful and tranquil location. The cottage is well equipped and has a pretty garden surrounded by fields and woodland with a patio for alfresco dining or just being at one with nature.

New barn conversion. I have tried to maintain the character. The decor is Agri/industrial, reusing as much of the raw materials around the farm. It has three king-size beds all on-suite. 1 x Very large bedroom upstairs with sofa and balcony and 2 smaller ground floor bedrooms. Each room has a TV and wifi. The main living room includes a kitchen, a table, a large L-shaped sofa and coffee table: an outdoor table and chairs, BBQ and a covered area for storing bikes and a EV Charger (50p/kw) etc.

Located between the Brecon Beacons and Cambrian Mountains, you will be within touching distance of some of Wales’s most iconic landscapes, including the Celtic rainforest at RSPB Dinas. It is perfectly located for walkers, cyclists, naturalists and stargazers!

Relax in a beautifully converted 16th-century Barn

Set within an acre of secluded gardens, Penroc Barn sits in the beautiful Welsh countryside just outside the market town of Llandovery. It dates from the sixteenth century and is a self-contained part of a larger property where the owner lives. It has been uniquely and sympathetically converted to retain its true character and highlight the beautiful old beams. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families & kids, and furry friends (Two well-behaved pets only).

Plenty of wide open spaces, no neighbours, walks from the door, fresh country air and panoramic views of the Cambrian Mountains and Brecon Beacons National Park. What more could you want!
