The home is located near Belgrave Township, close to the Puffing Billy railway and just a short drive from the gorgeous towns of Sassafras, Olinda, and Mt. Dandenong. A lovely English-style tavern with live music sits at the end of our quiet street. Killlik Rum distillery is also at the end of the street for food and cocktails. Parking out front on road (cul de sac) Bus stop on corner to access hills towns Belgrave station 10 minutes walk Steps up to the house. Two cats live on property (Buddy & Braveheart) but probably wont impact on guests unless they are cat lovers!

There's a cot set up, & a PortaCot is available on request. The area is quiet & peaceful, with lots of local options from nature to adrenaline. Menzies Cottage is an hour east of Melbourne & set high on a mountain-side in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. Enjoy views out to the Wellington Road farmlands & Cardinia Reservoir. On a clear day you can see Arthur’s Seat, Port Phillip & Westernport Bays. Visit nearby Puffing Billy Steam Train, go bushwalking, feed the friendly farm animals or settle-in for a lazy afternoon before watching the sun set. The cottage is fully self contained & with your own private entrance, deck & enclosed garden.

Our rustic barn is the perfect place to stay while adventuring through the Mount Dandenong Ranges. After a long day of riding puffing billing or walking the many bush trails you’ll be met with a warm and inviting space that offers a full kitchen, large seating area in front of the fireplace, a large dining area, a deck surrounded by greenery and a characterful bathroom to warm up and refresh. The first bedroom is situated on a mezzanine level with the second small bedroom nestled underneath.

A beautiful relaxing space, which has its own parking, private entry foyer and is locked separately form the main house. Situated on a rise, in a quiet court with open undulating views.

The place is only 1km from Westfield Fountain Gate Shopping Centre where you can find almost everything you need. If you don't have a car, there is a walking trail to lead you to the shopping mall. The trail goes through several beautiful parks and quiet local streets.

Our 1959 vintage caravan is just 12ft long, best for a couple or two friends. Wake up to the sounds of Lyrebirds, enjoy a private walk in our rainforest gully and stroll around the garden, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Offering a minimum of one night stay for a quick getaway or to stay longer & enjoy the peace, light the fire pit, which is under cover, ideal if it's raining (made from a beer keg), and roast marshmallows.
