Our 1959 vintage caravan is just 12ft long, best for a couple or two friends. Wake up to the sounds of Lyrebirds, enjoy a private walk in our rainforest gully and stroll around the garden, one of the best private gardens in the Dandenongs. Offering a minimum of one night stay for a quick getaway or to stay longer & enjoy the peace, light the fire pit, which is under cover, ideal if it's raining (made from a beer keg), and roast marshmallows.

Dingleigh of Sassafras - Reader's Cottage

A forest hideaway in the Dandenong Ranges. Nestled between ferns and maples, Dingleigh of Sassafras is one of the original cottages on the property, lovingly restored and updated. Walking proximity to Sassafras, local shops, famous gardens & the national park. Dingleigh and its gardens offer an ideal location for wedding preparations and small wedding ceremonies. This little sanctuary is full of character as it was previously a chapel for local nuns that has been converted into a charming get-away. Enjoy the peaceful towering mountain gums as you read a book on the day bed, sit by the fire, or have an outdoor bath in the garden.
