Situated at the start of the Wasdale and Eskdale we are perfect for anyone wishing to climb Scafell or just enjoy the two stunning valleys. Brave drivers and cyclists may wish to tackle Hardnott pass at the top end of Eskdale. Ravensglass village and beaches a short walk away, also set on the Fell above the cottage is the amazing Muncaster Castle and Owl centre. Children and Pet friendly 🐾👍🏼

Harter Cottage- Beautiful Lake District views

Parkgate Farm Holidays is a peaceful farmstead site with a few sheep and friendly donkeys at the foot of the Eskdale and Wasdale valleys in Cumbria's Western Lakeland. You've got easy access to the fells directly from the property, and there are also several good west-coast beaches within ten minutes' drive. There's a heritage steam railway line that runs near the farm, and there are several popular visitor attractions within easy reach such as Muncaster Castle, Beacon Museum and The Rum Story.

High Eskholme is a detached cottage sitting in the heart of Eskdale estate set within the valley of Eskdale in the western Lake District, an area of outstanding natural beauty . On stepping out of the front door, there are walks for all abilities, over Muncaster Fell, a flat walk through woodland or walks along the river Esk. For the more ambitious, Scafell pike and the Wasdale Valley are just a car ride away, or Perhaps you would like to play the stunning 18 hole golf course, or fish the Esk.

The Cabin comprises of a Kitchen, mezzanine Bedroom, living area and adjoining bathroom. ( I list this cabin for 2 people but would consider allowing up to 4 guests if you contact me especially if you wanted to bring children for instance) Please note this property may not be suitable for guests with specific disabilities if a fire occurred.

Kirk Fell, Great Gable, Lingmell, Harter Fell are just some of the local Western Fells. Muncaster Castle, The Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway and sandy beaches are all nearby.

Relax at this peaceful place to stay in the Western Lake District. There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep. The King George pub is only a minute walk away, serving lovely home cooked food and real ale. The Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway, known locally as “La’al Ratty” is only a ten minute walk from the cottage. Eskdale Stores is open daily. The cottage itself has been recently renovated and has a secure garden with lovely views, ideal dogs.

A delightful and quiet cottage, packed with everything you need to enjoy the Lake District! Greengage Cottage sleeps four people with both bedrooms on the same floor, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. Ample parking is available just 3 metres away and Greengage Cottage has access to the walled garden just opposite which is a relaxing sun trap.

The Old Wine Store at The Grove, Ravenglass Recently refurbished, this beautiful self- contained apartment is the perfect place for an action packed getaway or a relaxing retreat. The apartment has its own front door and outside garden (although not enclosed)and was once an old wine cellar for the main house above.
