The best bacalo restaurant in Europe (it's true actually, it's not just my own opinion). If you want to try the traditional norwegian salted and dried codfish - this place is a must.

High class, great seafood! Go here if you want a great local seafood meal with wine from their own wine cellar. Expensive, but a good and tasteful experience.

Great lunch place. In the summer time you can sit outside on their barge in Brosundet. Design furniture and good coffee.

If you're here for the weekend and want a night out, I think this is the best place. D.J. every Friday and Saturday. The dancefloor isn't big but the vibe is good! 5-10 min walk from the apartment.

In my opinion the best drinks and coctails in town. It's a hotel bar, so it's not open as late as the other bars. Perfect for rainbowcolored girly summer drinks.

A very nice lighthouse in the middle of Ålesund. Today it is not used as a lighthouse, but as a hotel suite! The street you walk through to get there, Moloveien, is also very nice.
